Bukidnon Newsletter
Greetings from YWAM Bukidnon!
Dear Granny Donna,
Greetings from YWAM Bukidnon! We are so thankful to God for being so faithful to us in many ways, whenever we call His name He is always answered and He is real to us in our lives.
So many things have happened to us in the past few months and we are glad to inform you that finally, we are able to run Discipleship Training School (DTS) this time. We have 6 students from different countries and regions of the country. 1 from Myanmar, 1 Gamiba, 4 Filipinos from Davao, Cebu, and from the Tribes of Bukidnon the Manobo.
Apart from our Bible Study group for the mother, we also have a once-a-month fellowship at our base. During the last fellowship, the mother was hit by a motorbike, but no one took responsibility for the incident. She regained consciousness and asked for a pain reliever. I noticed that she is pregnant. She was advised to have an ultrasound and a head x-ray, but she couldn’t afford the necessary check-ups. We are praying for anyone who can help financially with her condition.
Her name is Mymy Diahan a 31 years old, and a mother of 5 children, she used to join our fellowship every month and the weekly Bible Study. Just lately we found out that there is a Goiter growing in her neck. She approaches me for help she doesn’t know what to do with her goiter. Aside from that, we prayed for her she needs to go to a Doctor for a check-up to see the condition of her goiter but we are so limited to move for we don’t have funds to bring her to the doctor and to buy medicine if there is a prescription given by a Doctor. We ask your prayers and help for her to have a check-up as soon as possible, any amount is highly appreciated.
These are the kids whose parents died because of motorbike crush accidents, we help them with their daily food so that they can continue to go to school, especially breakfast and lunch. They are so grateful that we adopted them and receive food to eat every day.
As the ministry is growing and the number of people is increasing, we need to bring students, patients, and others to transport the ministry to their specific destination. We find it difficult that the ministry doesn’t have a car and we can’t easily travel and do ministry because we need a huge budget we realized that it is cheaper if there is a car for the ministry and in that case, it is easy for us to move and make a plan especially to do a visitation to tribes.
We decided to renovate the attic of our classroom for realized that we needed an additional room for the couple. But we need more budget in order to finish the other 2 rooms, toilet and stairs for the rooms upstairs. So we are hoping and praying that we can continue the renovation soon so that we can accommodate more people in our place.

Youth/Community Ministry
For our Youth and Community, we did a visitation in the community and did a Bible to them together with the DTS. The team was enjoying the time bonding and building friendships with the people around the area.
We thank God for the opportunity that we can minister to the people around us and be able to reach the Tribes despite our limitations. We don’t have silver and gold but we have Jesus to help us minister and build relationships with them.
We acknowledged that we cannot do this without the help of God. We gave all the glory to Him our Lord Jesus.
Please let us know your prayer request so that we can specifically pray for you.
Thank you for your time in reading our updates and May God bless you.
